Maintenance is a key factor in prolonging the lifespan of equipment, minimizing downtime, and reducing costs in the long-run. All too often, this is overlooked until there's an emergency.
When multiple cases of a problem occur simultaneously and go unaddressed, they create a maintenance deficit. This builds up over time and creates significant, unavoidable operational costs in the form of emergency repairs and facility safety.
There are several reasons that prevent one from performing periodic maintenance:
- Lack of skilled resources
- Inconvenient timing
- Lack of organization or planning
- Misunderstanding the importance of maintenance and its respective benefits and costs
Solution
PTP’s Automation team offers a system care automation contract to help mitigate maintenance issues.
This Contract covers all aspects of the maintenance including:
- Checking of PTP supplied panel health.
- Checking of plant control system
- Checking the health of field instruments like level
Sensors, limit switches, pressure transmitter, load cells
Indicators and other safety devices
- Basic training for plant operators/electricians
The Service Includes:
- 3 automation expert visit per year
- 20 hours of online support whenever required
PTP strongly recommends this contract plan to its customers to ensure smooth plant operation and functioning.
